Max Emilian Verstappen is a Dutch and Belgian racing driver. He holds the record for the youngest race winner in the history of F1, after he won the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, at just 17 years old. He’s also the holder of Formula One World Champion in 2021 and 2022.
Max Verstappen Early Life and Age
Max Verstappen was Born in 30th September 1997 in Hasselt (Belgium). Verstappen is the son of racing drivers Jos Verstappen, who is a former Formula One driver and Sophie Kumpen. As of printing he is 25 years old. Verstappen arrived in Formula 1 as the youngest driver ever to have competed in the series, at 17. He also became the youngest race winner at the age of 18years in 2016.
Max Verstappen Professional Career
Verstappen began his racing career in 2006 in the Mini Junior championship of his home province of Limburg, Belgium. He also graduated to the Rotax Max Minimax class and won the Belgian championship in the same year. In 2007, Verstappen won the Dutch Minimax championship and in 2009 he won he Flemish Minimax championship and the Belgian KF5 championship.
He first stepped into Formula 1 in August 2014 when he joined Red Bull’s junior team. He became the youngest driver to take part in an F1 weekend after competing in a free practice ahead of the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix. In 2015, he took on his first full-time F1 driver role with Scuderia Toro Rosso, now AlphaTauri, who are a part of the Red Bull group.
In this campaign he established himself as one of F1’s most talented youngsters before securing a seat with Red Bull in 2016.
In his first race with Red Bull, the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, Verstappen became the youngest driver ever to win a Formula One Grand Prix at the age of 18 years and 228 days.
In 2020 he finished third-place finish for Red Bull Racing earned him millions in bonuses. He was even better in 2021, winning the F1 drivers’ title by passing Lewis Hamilton on the final lap of the final race Making him the holder of Formula One World Champion in 2021 which he also maintained in 2022.
Max Verstappen Personal Life
Verstappen has been in a relationship with Brazilian model Kelly Piquet, 34, since 2020. She the daughter of Nelson Piquet, the former Brazilian who won three F1 world championships in the years 1981, 1983 and 1987.
Fixing of Hungarian Grand Prix trophy
Max Verstappen broke the Hungarian Grand Prix trophy in mid-july,2023. it was destroyed during a post-race champagne celebration last month by his buddy Lando Norris.
on 29, August,2023 the F1 superstar was gifted a fixed award and he’s not letting his buddy Lando Norris come near it!!
The 25-year-old Red Bull driver showed off his repaired keepsake in a selfie with the Lando Norris on Tuesday … and both guys joked about the mishap after Max was reunited with his prize.

Lando Norris is issuing a mea culpa after accidentally destroying Max Verstappen‘s Hungarian Grand Prix trophy last weekend … vowing to be more cautious with his celebrations moving forward TMZ.com reported.
The 23-year-old McLaren driver — who finished second in Sunday’s race — went viral when he knocked the reigning champ’s new hardware off a platform after slamming down his champagne bottle during their podium party. On Twitter they are captured celebrating while Lando Norris is sees as avoiding the trophy in a joking manner.
