Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), has welcomed his fourth child with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at his neurotechnology company, Neuralink. Zilis announced the news in an X post on Friday, February 28, revealing that the couple has a second son named Seldon Lycurgus. She did not disclose the exact date of his birth.
In her post, Zilis wrote, “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much ♥️.” Musk responded simply with a heart emoji: “♥️.”
This marks the fourth child for Musk and Zilis, who previously welcomed twins, son Strider and daughter Azure, in November 2021. The twins were born just weeks before Musk and musician Grimes (Claire Boucher) welcomed their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, via surrogate, as revealed in court documents published by Insider in July 2021. On February 28, 2024, Musk and Zilis welcomed their third child together, Arcadia, whose first birthday Zilis celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2025, with an X post: “Happy 1st birthday, darling Arcadia. Mommy loves you with all her heart 💞.”
The blended family dynamics between Musk, Zilis, and Grimes have been a topic of public interest. In September 2023, Grimes posted on X about her relationship with Zilis, revealing that the two had connected and were now on the same page regarding the circumstances under which they each welcomed children with Musk just weeks apart.

The news of Musk’s 14th child comes shortly after author Ashley St. Clair announced on X on Friday, February 14, that she and Musk had welcomed his 13th child, a son named R.S.C., five months prior. St. Clair wrote, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, posted a statement on X on Saturday, February 15, stating, “Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time. We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation.”
On Friday, February 28, a judge ordered Musk to appear at a May 29 hearing regarding custody arrangements for R.S.C.
Elon Musk first became a father in 2002 when his ex-wife, Justine Wilson, gave birth to their son Nevada Alexander, who tragically passed away at 10 weeks old. The couple went on to have five more children: twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19.
