The 34-year-old partner of Den’Jah Moore, Charles Ivy, has already been placed under arrest in connection with the Den’Jah Moore killing case. The police chief added at a press conference that Ivy was the father of the children, ages four and five, and that the incident was “definitely domestic in nature.” He did, however, note that the motivation is still a mystery.

Inside one of the apartments at the Countryside Apartments on Beville Road, 30-year-old Den’Jah Moore and her 10-month-old kid were discovered dead. According to the most recent information provided by the authorities, two additional children, ages 4 and 5, were brought to the hospital where they are still intubated and in severe condition. According to reports, Den’Jah Moore suffered 100 knife stab wounds.

The above 10 month child died later in the hospital because of cardiac arrest.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested on multiple counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder,” Fox 35 reports. “Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young told reporters Wednesday morning that a Florida mother was found stabbed to death inside her Daytona Beach apartment, which was later set on fire with her three children “left to die” inside.”
“This is the most horrendous and horrific crime that I’ve experienced throughout my entire career,” Chief Young stated. “My victims are where I want to start. Therefore, I would first and foremost like to offer the victims’ families my sincere sympathies.”
According to Chief Young, the suspect, 34-year-old Charles Ivy, was taken into custody close to his Ormond Beach residence. He was charged with two charges of attempted criminal murder, two counts of first-degree murder, and two crimes of arson.
The mother of the children, Den’Jah Moore, 30, was discovered by firefighters inside with several stab wounds. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased.
Three further children were discovered inside the house by firefighters: a 4-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 10-month-old in a crib. They were all sent to a local hospital in a hurry. Later, the 10-month-old passed away. According to officials, the other two youngsters are still receiving serious care at the hospital.
None of the kids were stabbed or physically hurt, according to Chief Young.
“Their injuries were as a result of being left to die in a fully engulfed fire,” he stated.
Family members disclosed to Fox 35 “Everyone is still in shock and disbelief,” Moore’s cousin Tanisha Pennock said. “We were just on the phone talking about preparing for tomorrow.”
According to Moore’s cousins, they all grew up to be sisters.
“A heart of gold,” Pennock remarked. “She’s so nice I just don’t understand what happened, what transpired.”
They claim that Moore only dropped the kids off with Charles Ivy on weekends and that’s all they knew about him.

Princess Delices, another relative of Moore’s, stated, “This is the mother of your kids.” She came down here because of you, therefore anything you do is absurd. When we learned the specifics of what had transpired, our emotions were beyond words.”
In remembrance of their enjoyable moments together, the family announced that they would celebrate Den’Jah on Thanksgiving Day. For the two kids who are still in the hospital, they keep praying.
