In a heart felt Statement, Bishop Kiengei of Jesus Compassionate Ministry categorically denied claims of having multiple wives. While quoting the bible he reaffirmed his commitment to his wife, Reverend Joy Ngaru emphasizing that she is the only woman he considers his spouse.
I want to set the record straight,” Bishop Kiengei stated. Reverend Joy Ngaru is my one and only wife. Any rumors or speculations suggesting otherwise are baseless and false.
The Bishop’s clarification comes amid online chatter and gossip that had circulated about his personal life and his clandestine behaviors linked with a city business woman Damaris Muriithi. It is believed that the land where the JCM church is located is owned by Damaris Muriithi the proprietor of Dama Mobile spares a repair and distributor of mobile phones spares in the Nairobi city. The bishop urged his followers to disregard such unfounded claims and focus on the positive work of his ministry. Bishop Ben married Joy seven years ago after breaking up with Keziah, who did not welcome his idea of having a second wife. The Bishop also called out on Damaris Muriithi who is the matron of JCM church to go back to church as her presence was noted and he clarified his commitment and support for the work she does at the church. “Go and tell our matron to stop fearing the Bishop is behind her.” Bishop Ben stated.
Bishop Ben who is well known to at times speak in parables stated on his facebook page, “Life is not about getting revenge and hurting people who hurt you. Maybe God has you reading this so you can be good to someone who doesn’t deserve it. It’s easy to pay someone back, to ignore them, to make them suffer. That’s not being a peacemaker. Why don’t you be the smile of God and show them the kindness they don’t deserve? “Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.” When you’re the smile of God, He’ll make sure people will smile back at you…..”
Bishop Kiengei and Reverend Joy Ngaru are known for their strong and enduring relationship with their union being a source of inspiration for many within the JCM community and beyond.
