Khloé Kardashian Speaks Out on Lamar Odom Documentary Backlash, Says She Regrets Participating

Khloé Kardashian has publicly criticized her former husband Lamar Odom after feeling misrepresented following his new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.

In a recent podcast episode, Kardashian expressed frustration over Odom’s comments about her role in his recovery following his 2015 overdose. She said she agreed to take part in the documentary “as a favor” after being approached by Odom and his team, as well as the production crew, who wanted her perspective on their past relationship and his health struggles.

Kardashian explained that she spent hours sharing her experience, including the role she played during his medical crisis and recovery period. However, she said she was later disappointed after Odom publicly questioned or dismissed parts of her account, including her involvement in helping him during that time.

She added that she felt “pissed” and regretful for agreeing to participate, saying she only did so to support what she believed would be a respectful and positive reflection of his journey. Instead, she said she felt her contribution was being undermined after the documentary’s release.

The reality star also said she felt “played,” explaining that she had no personal benefit from participating and only agreed out of consideration for Odom’s request. She further stated that revisiting the situation was emotionally difficult, as it brought back painful memories from their marriage and his addiction struggles.

Kardashian concluded by saying she felt frustrated that her intentions were being questioned, emphasizing that she had kept many of those experiences private for years before speaking about them in the documentary.

The documentary continues to generate discussion, especially around how personal narratives are shared and remembered after public relationships and health crises.
